I need to know how many wires are on a 97 f350 engine harness plug. And the colors after fuze box under hood then a 89 amount of wires and colors for same motor it's like 4 plugs for 89 but no fuze box same engine 351w I want to swap the plug to fit older engine in newer truck I don't hv money to buy new harness if it plugs in same sensors what's difference 97 harness is too hacked

 

If your '97 harness is complete you don't need to swap anything just install the motor and plug in the wires.

 

Yes it runs but has bad head gasket but things different like distriburator wires and has more stuff on top and it's hacked with terminals were he broke plugs I might just use the m50d if I'm easy on it it should work and hold up cause that's were wires are different between manual and auto according to haynes
