It's rare all right. Big Job hood trim on an F1. Only one I've ever seen, so it's rare...

That would have to be 1952 trim as the 1951 would also have F-7 or F-8 on it. The 1952 had the separate badge for the model.

The "rare" Big Job F1 - I've got one of those and have also owned one of the "super rare" 51 F1's with the speedometer located at the left side of the dash like the one in the ad. - Bob

I can't find it now, but there was a truck on the local craigslist a couple weeks ago with "no rust" and pictures that clearly showed a rust covered body. I don't know who they thought they were fooling.

That's great! I really didn't know the "circle" on the 52 trim is a separate piece.

Yea, but does yours also have those super rare F2-F6 fenders on it?

Loved it, brought back memories. Thanks for posting.
There was a real crusty farmer In my neighborhood who was famous for stretching the truth. He had an outside mechanic come by to tear down an engine in a IH M. The mechanic told him everything it needed, which was a major overhaul. The farmer told him he could not afford all that just put it back together. The mechanic refused because he knew this guy would tell everyone that he had overhauled it. Your posting reminded me of this guy right away.

Joe, I Never even noticed those - did think the front wheels looked kind of small though!

Hey, that Big Boy model comes with a five-star-extra glove box. Did you notice that? "All Original"
A rare model indeed. Man, that guy can shovel it high. The BS meter was pegged in that ad.

A "Big Job" pickup, now that's a one-of-a-kind I think.

It might be a 5 Star Extra cab. It has the drivers door lock, ss divider bars and arm rests. No ss windshield trim or original hood trim (maybe the holes were filled too).

Certainly not all original.
