4.10 swap vs 351w swap
I posted a while ago about a manual trans swap but recently after finding out how much it is going to cost I decided to live with the aod but i need to do something where I live in the mountains I am always driving with overdrive locked out and it is always slowing down when I get to a hill when I give it some more gas it speeds up and half the time I end up speeding I want more power so I have two options swapping my 3.55s for 4.10s or swapping my 302 for a 351w keep in mind my truck is 4x4 so which do you think is the better option for performance and mpg

Gears will make you think you're driving a totally different truck. There's THAT much difference.
With the TTB front end you don't need to buy the entire front axle, just the center section will do. If you do get the entire axle I would replace the u-joints and seals, probably the axle bearings in the knuckles (remove the spindles and you'll see them) and seals, and pivot bushings for sure.
Change the oil front and rear. Maybe a brake job too. Might as well since it's all torn apart for the swap.

But I am told a Center Chunk Dana 50 TTB from a F250 will bolt in place of the Center Chunk Dana 44 TTB in the F150. And F250 were pretty common to have 4.10s

Most single cab F250s came with Dana 44HDs, just in case the 50 pumpkin is incompatible

edit: Oh, I get it. You're trying to differentiate it from a Toyota Double Cab. But very few F-250s came with Toyota cabs either.

Yeah my grandpa used to have a 87 f150 with a 302 4 speed and 4.10s but he sold it when I was fourteen if I recall it was a supercab with a long bed I wish I could find it my uncle says every now and then he sees it driving around Covington but of course I would prefer to have the truck he had before that one but God only knows where that truck is he sold it before mom and dad even got married and as such the very thought of me hadnt occurred to them but my uncle showed me a picture of it and it was beautiful a 78 f250 crew cab custom 4x4 4 speed factory d60 and originally a 351m but my dad who was maybe 23 at the time blew the engine up threw a rod through the block and they put 400 in its place grandpa sold it because my dad and uncles wouldn't leave it alone when he was off to work in Richmond all week every other week. He sold it to a construction company and what really sucked was when he sold it around 1988 it had a new engine new paint job new interior and after a year with that construction company it looked like ****
