Super nice machining work as well on the wheel.

Bought a used 7.3 turbo on CL to rebuild and make real pretty. The old ones fine, but since I had to take it off.... Mission creep as they say.

I'll update when I get it installed and cerakoted.

Very nice. When I replaced the center section of my turbo, I installed Riffraff's billet 4/4 compressor wheel. I like the performance when RPMs get up above 2000...... but it surges horribly with the cruise control on.

I called them before I bought, supposed to cure surge and give you a great whistle. Knowledgeable guys. Incredibly fast shipping, ordered Tuesday, got it today from Cali.

 

Hey Old guy, Why not buy a 38R, since you are doing the other upgrades?

 

I considered it, but my main goals were to:

Eliminate surge
Get that great whistle sound
Spruce/bling up the bay.

The 38R, while good just did not fit into the budget when I can do so much more for the $$$

Possible I'm compensating when driving with my foot, but it is annoying with the cruise on. So far it is just an annoyance..... I do not plan to change it out for a different one at this point.

Also I ground off the "garrett" name as I am going to put some unique there :-)
