Thanks. I have to pull the upper plenum to replace the injectors (bought the wrong ones) So I may change the valve covers to either the Ford Racing, or the finned Cobra style.

I had bought 19lb HO injectors, but after doing research, found out I'd have problems. I bought a set of stocker 14lb injectors. I don't have the budget to convert to HO. Heads, intake and switch to MAF. I'll save $1000.00 or more keeping it stock. I'll be running header's and dual exhaust, and modified fresh air intake. It'll be more than suffice for me. I tend to get into trouble with MORE POWER. I am on track to have this truck finished for under $15000.00 cdn. I am under a strict budget, and have to be very patient. My truck gets put away for the winter. Over that period I shop for part's, and usually have enough bought to keep me busy all summer. This truck will be garage built with the exception of the paint. (being done at my buddy's shop). Do to other commitments with children heavily involved in sport'$. I have blown my completion date by at least a couple of year's. I'm also too fussy for my budget. After all, it's a hobby, not an obsession for me. Although my wife tends to have a different opinion. At least she's finally on board.

Thanks Ben. once it runnin' an on the road, I can dress it up a bit. Really, when I park, the hood will mostly remain closed. Clean and functional, is what I'm after. I plan on driving it daily from May till November. No A/C and stock straight axle. I drove that way as a kid and loved it. As long as it looks good, and I have my tune's, I'll be more than happy. If I go on a long trip, and have problems, I can still find the right part's an keep going. The system is 25yrs old, and the the aftermarket support is still good.

The 19lb are orange, and are stock for that vintage 5.0 HO motor. the gray ones are stock 14lb for the low po Crown Vic style 5.0. I also removed the original ford accessory brackets and bought some off shore ones. The off shore ones had crappy hardware, so I bought, and fabbed my own. A lot cheaper than the March one's. I think Ryans88GT used the same bracket's I have. I bought mine from RPC Product's.

yamagrant your engine looks great, even if it is yamaha colors (I think my next bike will be a yz250f)
mines 88 Lincoln as well it is an HO though. runs great starts right up, does not smell, jets don't plug up, runs perfect at sea level or at 10,000 feet. I need to clean it up some but these efi engines look good to me.
