Question 1988 F-150 with 5.0 has starting issue

My 1988 F-150 has an issue where the first time I start the engine that morning it runs for a few seconds but shuts off? Sometimes I have to start the engine 2 or 3 times before it stays on.

When the mechanic pulled the codes it read as if there is nothing wrong. The truck has a new fuel pumps and filter, new distributor, new spark plugs and wires, new IAC valve, new battery, altinator and solenoid. I'm pretty lost as to what it could be? Every time the engine is cold when I go to start the truck it turns over, revs to about 2 thousand and then dies? Sometimes it only does it once, other times it takes multiple started before it finally stays running.
