Heated Steering Wheel

Do I need to be re-calibrated or do I have an actual problem? My heated steering wheel gets nice and toasty when I turn it on, but it seems to turn off after it's been on for a while. I've not timed it, but it seems to go cold after 15 minutes, then warms back up. Does your do this or do I have a faulty wheel, element, control, etc...

It's probably thermostatically controlled and turns off at a preset temperature or after a given period of time. Your owners manual should address it.

Yes mine turns off and on, I believe it is controlled as it does not have settings like the seats do. Mine does not go cold though it is always warm just warmer at times.

Sounds like normal operation for the application. Heated mirrors usually have a timed switch as well.

Mine stays on until you turn it off. If yours is shutting off something is wrong
