Ok So I got a call from the machine shop about the 429.

Wrong heads to small CC, Wrong pistons, Wrong cam... cheap rod bolts, according to the machine shop the other builder use bolts that are known to break!

So 4500 dollars later... in process now. now making it a 460

1. Love the wheels on "Chief Blackhawk"

2. How long did it take to get the headers from L&L, from ordering to delivery?

3. Sell me the mirrors on the yellow truck

4. Great build thread, thanks for taking the time to lay it all out.

The wheels on chief I had on my Bronco for years. Just sold them last year. I think it was only a few weeks from L&L pretty quick. you will need to paint them or send them off to Jethot. Yea I don't think Muddy74ford would be happy selling them when he just put them on, well make me an offer...LOL

What I did to the motor

Block bored 40 over, Crank ground and polished, balance the rotating assembly, all ARP main, and rod bolts. All bearing sent out for tri-coating. ISKY cam custom ground mild for 1200 to 4500 RPM. new Pistons, Not sure which ones Steve picked out. trued all surfaces. Head 4 angle grind Manley stainless steel valves, Comp Springs, Edelbrock intake and Cloyes double roller timing chain.

Thanks Ryan for the Help today!!
