I got a 2002 windstar with a 3.8 in it. here's the deal it sounds like it has a supercharger. It dont sound like a bearing or a belt squeal. It started doing it after I washed the motor. its been doing it for a couple months now. actually its quite interesting lol it sounds just like a belt for a blower. I have tried the old putting soap on the belt and I have sprayed bp blaster on the pullies and what not and there is no change in the sound. weather dont change it seems like nothing does. I can't get it to stop or ever change its tone. any ideas what might be causing it? It doesn't seem to be affecting it but really don't want a minivan sounding like it has a blower lmao.
