Brake lights flashers and reverse lights

It occurred to me later that I could have elaborated on how the stiff, rod-like object would slide in & out of the hole in a smooth, rhythmical, steady fashion thereby sort of abrading the sides.
As far as replacement pigtails, I know NAPA has a decent selection of that stuff - at least in their printed catalogs they can order (local stores I'm talking).
Many of those connectors can be disassembled quite easily, but I don't think I ever found a way of getting at the insides of those round things with the bladed connectors. ;(
You can run a continuity test to verify a problem in said harness but you'll need a length of wire to do that - one test lead connectoed to one lead on one end of a connector, the other test lead connected to a length of wire, the other end of that wire connects to the the other end of the harness at the lead belonging to the wire you're testing in the harness (hope that makes sense).
But it sounds like you have power at the switch, then through the switch, and voltage drops radically someplace between there and the lamp sockets in the back?

I've got it down to the exact spot the voltage drops, it's the connector to the rear harness, before it I have 10 volts (not running) after it I have nothing, so I know it's that connector... I'll go run over to some of the parts stores in my area and see what they have, advanced is usually where I go, but we do have a napa as well so if they don't have it I'll try napa!

Will do! I pulled the plugs off the heater and the prongs were pretty gross lookin, I'll clean those up first and see what happens there, no luck on the plugs... I have a literal 80-86 graveyard about 30 minutes from my house so I can probably get one there, anything I can do as a temp fix? Bypass the plug? I've gotta get it inspected to i need something to get em working through that
