I went with a Mishimoto intercooler from RiffRaff. Also got the cold side tube and boots.

It will take several days to get it here, but I am sure it will be worth it.

I will wait on the upgraded turbo until the stock one blows....hopefully have a little time to recover from the $1200.00 I just spent in parts and most likely another $300-$400 in labor.

There is no reason whatsoever there should be $400 in labor. Unless the 6.0 has some witchcraft going on compared to the 7.3.... I can have my IC out in less than 40 minutes.

I am just taking a guess going off labor hours. I am assuming it is a 3 hour job to R+R the intercooler. Roughly $89.00 a hour x 3 = $267 + 1 hour diagnostics = $356.00.

I was hoping it was only the boots, but didn't think it was your turbo as I agreed with Magnus....

I wouldn't replace the turbo either at this point. But I also agree with Matt, that job can be done quickly. I had mine done when I replaced my radiator total labor from ford was 3 hours for both items just FYI...

RiffRaff was damn quick on the shipping. All the parts went out the same day I placed the order.....They are not scheduled to arrive until Tuesday though. I have to have the truck good to go on Wednesday to head back to Va Beach for Thanksgiving. It is going to be close.

Good call on the Mishimoto Intercooler. My radiator blew at the end of July and I wasn't about to have to do it again, so I got the Misimoto radiator and it's light years better than stock.

Clay is also ridiculously fast at shipping, now you know what all us cool people have known for some time now.

I completely agree. I did the Mish radiator earlier in the year after my stocker blew a tank side. If the intercooler is of the same quality you'll be very happy with the purchase!
