I've been talking to Per4mance on his truck, he's been using felpro for years and their products never failed him or others so much so that he too is using their head gaskets on his truck.

I've used felpro exclusively on my rebuilds although all have been gassers. From race engines to my daily drivers. Never an issue which is why I have no problem using their hg on the 6.0.

Julie's truck has them on it as we speak. And I drive the heck outta that truck. Extreme tune EVERYWHERE,, Lol. I've got a video somewhere that actually shows that it seemed that the felpros allowed less staining on the deck surfaces. granted,,, staining qualities isn't one of my criteria. Lol.

For me, the jury is still out but it's good to hear they are working.

I like the responses guys, thanks.

I don't read anything negative about them.

Now, I do understand that the two mating surfaces has a lot do with the success or failure of the gasket, but there was a gasket that guys were using that had a high failure rate. I think it was Black Onix or something.

I used Fel Pro when I installed my oil cooler, for some reason the cooler didn't come with gaskets. I had the one on top of the cooler blow out on the way home from SOuth Carolina. After that, I will NEVER use anything other than factory gaskets.

No one on here will EVER recommend using any oil cooler other than Ford. We are only talking about the MLS head gaskets. Every other oring and gasket and component needs to be oem. I don't use any of IPR's hardware or gaskets either.

I would give Cometic MLX HGs for the 6.0 a look.

Here is the link: http://www.cometic.com/product.aspx?id=13

I used them with ARP studs when I built my 540 BBC for my go fast boat. No problems.
