What bucket seats are you sitting on?

Thanks for all the help on my other posts.

I am looking for a good set of bucket seats to use on my 54 rebuild.
I would love to have a small console if possible, but will settle if it is not.
Can anyone point me toward a set that will center on the steering wheel, and still fit correctly. I have removed the fuel tank and it now sits in between the frame rails in the bed, so I have some room.
6 way power would be a plus, and plenty of room for a fat man is neccesary.

Thanks all.

Jeff

I am using seats out of Envoy. Power with seat belts built in. Going into 49 F68. I am 6'1" and I think they give me more leg room than stock seat. I removed the tank from behind the seat. They are not mounted ,just sitting on floor.

I used seats out of a Chrysler LHS, same as the 300 and Intrepid, made my own seat bases . With any bucket seat you can center it to the steering wheel but it will make for a very narrow console between the seats. My console is 9 inches wide and the seat is slightly off center to the left, steering column will be moved 1/2 inch to the left as well and still see the gauge cluster without any problem through the wheel. In my panel I used seats from a Mercury Villager van and again altered the height of the bases.

These are identical to what I'm using in my pickup I'm building now.

I used the center row seats from an 05 Mazda van in my 54 F100. They're not powered but once adjusted you seldom change the setting anyway. I fabbed the risers from 1" square tubing. The seat bottom cushions flip

forward exposing a hidden storage area under both seats and the center console actually flips out of the storage area under the passenger seat. I'm 6'1" and have about as much room as I did with the stock bench seat. The seats are centered in the cab which puts the drivers seat slightly left of the steering wheel center.

I plan on using the ones from my 98 Windstar that I junked. I'll have room for the console as well. Have to relocate the fuel tank some where though.

Seats are from a 97 Ford Taurus and console is from a 95 Ford Escape.
