Customer access wires

Does the expedition have any customer access wires under the dash that provide 12v power with key on?

Just use a fuse tap, it's easier.

I've heard this question before. A guy wanted to have his GPS automatically turn on when he started the truck. I used to mess with these wiring systems under the dash so I told him how to rewire his power outlet to the accessory wire at the ignition switch. Pretty easy actually.

Thanks, but re-wiring wasn't the question. On some models, Ford provides what they call customer access wires. They are just a wire, already fused and tucked up under the dash somewhere. They also provide pass thru wires on some vehicles where one end of the wire is under the hood and the other end is under the dash so you don't have to run your own wire from inside to out. Even though they make that pretty easy to do as well.

If the wire was already there, I was going to use it. Since there doesn't appear to be one, I went with plan B.
