This would be a great time to find a turbo kit; it requires different exhaust as it is.

If not, just find a crossover pipe(the only part that is hard to fab), and then talk to your local muffler shop. They can probably bend some pipe and weld in a muffler cheaper than you can buy an already-built piece. Or you can do it yourself with clamp-style fittings(I'm assuming you can't weld exhaust pipe yourself).

Take a tape measure and go from center to center from front wheels to rear wheels, that's your wheelbase. You don't even need to be that accurate, since the wheelbases differ by at least 10" or more, I believe.

X2 on turbo, but the wife won't let me get one just yet, so also X2 on fabbing or having a shop get you a better than stock setup.
A few of us N/A guys have put in a real Y-pipe instead of that joke that came with the pickup, and it certainly helps!
Mine was a walker 2 1/2"x2 into 4" outlet. But no shop that I found around here could bend 4". In fact they could only get to 3" max. So I had to do it all myself anyway...
But you could get the walker Y and have them put it into the system and build around it. Much better than stock

You can measure wheelbase as mentioned above, it should also be on the data tag in the driver side doorframe.
