Hello I have a 2003 ford ranger edge 2wd. When I start it it starts shaking bad then when I put it in reverse or drive and keep my foot on the break it rocks back and forth a good two inches. My check engine light is on it says that it was the mass air flow sensor I changed that and it's still doing it , it's driving very poor to and sounds like crud. Anyone can help?

 

Have you checked spark plugs and wires? Run a compression test? Need some more input to try and help out!

 

I've had two different cars do this due to bad motor mounts. One barely ran at all, the other lurched around pretty good and was down on power. Switched out the broken mounts and, voila, it was fixed.
