Sorry Austynn... I am not into Show and NO GO trucks..... I can appreciate a vehicle that gets RESTORED. But sinking big bucks into a brand new vehicle that you will never off-road is pointless to me.
There was a VERY nice 1967 Ford F-100 4x4 w/460 and C-6 that the guy did a great job restoring... very nice.. and if he never off-roads it I am ok with that.. its 26 years old.. a rarity and in great shape.
Also I didn't think the show was that good... the tough truck is lame... as are the so called mud drags.. I want to see carnage! A mud bog!

Yup nice show Georgie's 78 bronco was there(all the way from MA like me). The mud drags were lame I mean come on a wet field . But any way I will be going next year. Who else is???

Do you mean that Brown Bronco with the 460 in it? - it was a good looking Bronco!
I will be heading up next hear.. I totally agree.. mud drags are LAME! I want to see a better obstacle course than a silly oval.. who cares if STOCK daily drivers cannot compete! They were better to watch on saturday because they didn't know the course so they were smashing and bashing.. but on sunday they knew they needed to have speed to make the double jumps...
Even the Monster trucks were a bit lame.. I was figuring since it was outside they would really open up... not jump over 3 cars or simply crush them.... the Monsters that got Air off of that huge mound of dirt on the right side - now that was cool!
I also think that there was a weak showing from the Manufacturers. Rancho - Flowmaster - Mickey Thompson tires were about it... Even Rancho had a lame display...
Next year I will be out there doing the burnouts with my Bronco.. that 460 can sure roast them 32's (I only roast crappy ones my buddy gets from his tires shop...)

Yea, I was up there this year too. It was pretty good. I wish one of those monster trucks would hit that hugh dirt table top with some speed. BTW i'm sick of Raminator winning everytime...if those guys could pull off clean turns they could beat him. They all made terrible turns, but that hemi is untouchable on the straightaway.
I've gone up there the past 3 years and i'll def be going next year too. I'm entering my SD too
Yeah, I went up too, every year since 96. I am too so sick of mud dragsters there. What is the point of these? Tens of thousands of dollars go into these engines for a season that lasts a total of 8 seconds (1 second per fairground). Was the Elvis super duty the one with the huge chromed front lift blocks? That guy had his priorities messed up. Oh yeah, I hate to break it to anyone...but monster truck racing is fixed (aside from mechanical breakdowns). OK, I'm done complaining.
