It's officially done (SD 44gal rear tank)

As the title says its done and boy was it an adventure of trial and error but well worth it
Took some pics of it installed so enjoy

After I put 20 gallons of fuel

Ill try to make a write up of what is needed and rough measurements, feel free to comment on what you would of you done differently.
Thank you and God bless

Cool project. Good to see it fit in there just right. Are you planning some cross country trips now? Haha

Today I filled up to the neck and wow 28 gals so in total 48gals so as of now im rolling with 68 gallons 20 front and 48 rear.Glad I did it because I was debating on putting a fuel cell on the bed but did not want to compromise cargo area so this should get me 1000 miles with out fill up A couple of weeks I found my spare tire carrier oh well ill see if I can work something out so I can put it back in there.

Im posting the how to soon for those of you that are interest ob doing it.

MORE PICS!! Is this a 4x4 truck? I'd be interested in pics of the installation of the skid plates, if so.

Sorry 2wd and no skid plate. But the fuel tank sits very high almost at the exact location of the spare tire. There some pics on The "Mule" build. Skid plate wont fit I tried but its to long
