Changing belt and tensioner 5.4

Going to change out the belt and tensioner in my plow truck. 2008 5.4 What other pullies should be changed out ? How many idlers are under there ?

There is just a single idler, which sits almost above the tensioner. I would just change the tensioner, idler, and belt. So far that's all I've changed in my 2006, and all the other pulleys are fine. Remember that you'll need a 1/2" breaker bar to detention the belt and pull it off. It's a long reach down to get to the tensioner bolts, so get ready to lay on your motor or use a topside creeper!

That is all I changed on my 99 V10 as well. Idler, tensioner and belt.

So far I have only replaced the idler on my 2007 5.4L. Just over 100k miles. Belt and tensioner were good.

Should I stick with ford for these items or local napa ?

I went with motorcraft. Some will recommend the Goodyear Gatorback belts.
