2001 f150 thoughts

Im looking purchasing a 2001 f150 supercrew Lariet 4x4 with the 5.4.
Are these good trucks?
I had a 97f250 back in the day with the 5.4 i loved it
Is this 2001 f150 going to perform as the 97 did?
I plan on once in a while using it to pull my 30' bumper pull camper (on flat land under 200 miles).
im assuming it will pull no problem as the 97 did? other than that it will be a daily driver.
Just looking for some opinions?
Thanks

I had a 2001 CREW and now have a 2002 CREW. The original truck ran 250K miles until a tree jumped out on an icy road and grabbed my front fender and hood. I had used the truck to pull a 3000# trailer with a 7000# Bobcat on it for an hour or two. That's a FULL load, but if you don't do it often, you'r OK.

I have a 2000 F150, 5.4 Lariat and have been very happy with it. Plenty of pulling power out of the 5.4.

Had a 2002 F150 for two years until I bought my 2004. It was a very good truck. You can't go wrong with one of these.
