Rear axle yoke/ u joint problems, truck out of commission for the moment.... :(

Ok yall so tonight my u joints decided to finally go kaputz, I went to oreillys only to find out that they can't pull up the partand that as of right now I'm up **** creek with no paddle, so I need to know if yall can identify these parts and supply part numbers for me! Please and thank yall.

Your best bet for the part bolted to the pinion flange (ain't got a clue what its called) would be to find a self-service salvage yard and pull one yourself. It should be relatively cheap when you find it. A full service yard should have one as well, but it's likely to cost more.

The replacement u-joint is pretty common and should be less than $10 for a new one. I'd find another parts store if they can't find it...

Jeff's Bronco Graveyard calls it a half ton companion flange. Look in the drive shaft parts for $30. Also u joints for around $20

Well ended up being told that it's called a driveshaft yoke I scored the new [used] one at this shop for about 30 something and the new u joint was 16$ also paying another 75 for a drive shaft rebalance, luckily it was salvageable so all in all 120$ to get my driveshaft rebalanced, a new grease fitting, a new u joint, and new yoke not too bad if you ask me.
