Rough Country's 2" Cree LED Fog Light Kit for Super Duty

I was looking at the fog light replacement kit for '11-'16 Super Duty's by Rough Country -$99.00. Says it comes with mounting brackets that allow these to replace stock fog lights.

Was wondering if anyone has tried them yet-to see if the brackets really work- and how well the lights work before I take the leap?

I haven't tried them, but if Rough Country says that they will fit I would take their word at it.

It's not like they are a fly by night company that won't be around to take care of a customer service issue should one arise.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know since I've never dealt with Rough Country products before. If I order them, I will post back here how it went.

I just did a Rough Country 20" lightbar in the bumper opening. My big concern with the fogs would be if they are dot approved or not. So far I have little experience with the lightbar as my truck is not a dd. Seems well made though from what I can tell. Does have a blueish tint to it which takes a bit of getting used to.

I'm currently driving a demo F-150 with the Putco Luminix replacement LED assembly. Really impressed and I'm thinking of getting some for my Super Duty. They also use CREE LED's. Extremely bright for the small package, and they fit in the factory housing.

I put HID in my fog lights and the difference is huge. Haven't been flashed yet and they seem as bright as my rigid D2's just don't shoot up as high.

I checked into the Rough Country Fog Light LEDs a bit further and they appear to be spots - not specifically designed for fog light use. So I am wary of them and decided not to buy them. Seems counter-intuitive to me - putting these spots in Fog housing since they are designed to plug into existing fog light harness - meaning they will only come on with the lights on Dim.
