Looks bad through the back window. The doors are gonna fly open if you get in an accident anyway. Crazy is driving one of these without good seat belts.

You're crazy haha. I understand the use of a headrest but still kills the originality of the truck

Take pictures of that seat installed in your truck and life will be hard for you here.

That had to be a 70s-80s DIY upholstery job. I saw a panel truck at a show a few years back that still had a frilly seat and 2 inch **** carpet. Nobody could accuse him of following the latest cookie cutter trends.

It wasn't just upholstery back then either:

That's funny. I am barely old enough to remember Joe Namath and his playboy image. I remember seeing pictures of him wearing fur coats and **** carpet in his penthouse a small dog could get lost in.

You are crazy but only on '48-'50 Fatfenders with the small window. With them you can put a pad on the back of the cab.

On anything newer crash tests have shown that if you are hit from the rear you risk brain stem injury (usually fatal) if your head goes through the back window and your neck comes to rest on the window opening.

Sorry guys, kinda gruesome but you should know.

I got the seat today. I took out one caddy seat and now I'm having trouble taking off the other one because I have to bring down the gas tank

I like those Caddy seats. As they are lower I think that you will have more room than with the stock seat. And the skirt has got to go IMHO.

Yeah lots of extra room but I like the bench seat a lot more than bucket seats. I will get that skirt off 👍
