2005 f250 6.0 Harley Davidson edition

I'm looking to buy a 2005 f250 6.0 Harley Davidson with 128 thousand miles on it for 21,995. Just wondering if that's a good deal or should pass it up??

From what I found, that is the upper end of dealer retail. Not sure about you but I don't like paying full retail anywhere.
I'm guessing you could talk the dealer down. Sharp truck.
I would ask the dealer for any history on the truck, engine in particular. If you are not that familiar with the 6.0, I would strongly suggest doing some research before buying one, period.

17 might be a pretty good deal IMO.........that said, don't drive it and fall in love unless you have a Scanguage to stick on it beforehand. Spend $150 on one, it might save you thousands if, for instace, your deltas are high on the coolant temp and oil temp. And that is one example. If your FICM voltage reads low, you will know that right away as well.
Like I said before, don't buy a 6.0 without knowing about potential issues and what to look for.
Sure, it's a sweet looking ride, sounds cool, rides nice.........won't do you any good if you buy it with a hidden issue and it's sitting in the shop needing some big bucks to fix.
Three months is a good amount of time for anything to sit on a lot. There might be a reason it's been there that long.

Gonna need live data before anything can be determined. Myself I wouldn't pay anymore than 15 in extra perfect condition. I suspect this one may have problems (on the lot for 3 months) if work is needed price could be 5 to 8 depending but that's just me.

In extra perfect condition that would be an insult.mines an 06 with about the same miles,it's not perfect ,and I still wouldn't take that for mine.

Do the research here on buying a 6.0. Then get some sort of monitoring system to see FICM voltage, engine oil temp and coolant temp at a minimum. This could end up saving you a lot of money, headaches and heartbreaks.

I would check to see if the previous owner installed ARP head studs. If so, you can assume that the EGR cooler and oil cooler were also done. If not, plan the job right away so that you will not have to worry about a breakdown. Include the cost of the job in the price of the truck.
