Morning everyone.

The pics are not great, and are only of a few of the many cool vehicles that show up for our Sunday Meet-ups. I am horrible at getting pics. I am usually to busy going from one to the next. That, or just relaxing in a chair chatting.
This was a new happening. We had a parade of 7-8 duesenbergs show up. We get one or 2 on occasion but this was a first.

Those Aburns and Dusenbergs look like kits. Too small to be original cars. But that is not meant as criticism, I like those things a lot. It is a hell of a lot of work to get a kit car into a presentable condition and from you pics, it looks like they are in a good state of finish.
Very cool.

I don't know enough about them to say kit or real. They were not small by any means. They were longer than a 50's Caddy that was there. They looked great, and were cool to see.

Good morning guys,

Happy Tuesday!

Eeewww....snow!!!! BLAH! Yucky pooh pooh! Lol Karl & Kaedon are enjoying it, because school's on a 1 hour delay.
The transmission in my minivan is finally fixed & I took it straight to another repair shop to have other things fixed. I'm still waiting on a repair estimate call.

Snow?? Yuck! Good morning Nevada, none of that white crap here yet, thankfully. Should be another decent day in the 60's here.

Morning everyone.

Donna, glad to see the van finally getting fixed. Bobbie wishes we would get snow. It will just mean more trip to Mt. Charleston over the holiday breaks.

Pat, if the weather is so great, why have there been no progress updates?

Got snow? Yeah we got snow. Three days worth but it's melting off pretty well at 6,500 ft.

I finally got my snow blower out yesterday. With a flat tire. With no gas. I am sure that there was a little fuel in the tank when I stuck it under the lean to. Poured the tank full and it started running out through the broken gas line. It broke above the gas shut off valve. So I sat there waiting for the gas to run back into the can that I had just poured it out of. One of those diversions that changes the course of the day. It's all fixed up and busting berms now. But the tire is going down because I didn't have time to fix it.

I hope all of your days are going well for you. Cheers.

THANK YOU to ALL OUR VETERANS for your service. Happy Veterans Day.
Sunny today.
I have had an issue for two years with my 95 F150 4x4 302 5 speed. I use to get 16-18 mpg when I bought it. Then I did some work to it, new fuel pumps, new dist. new ign. modular, & new a/c compressor. Then since, I was lucky to get 14 mpg. But more like 10-12 mpg. It seemed gutless. Well I checked timing, checked to make sure I had the correct ign. modular (Black not Grey).
So I decided the only thing I had not done was exhaust. ( It had the factory system). So is that my problem??? Well I ordered a piece of pipe & a turbo muffler. Yesterday I removed & the muffler & rear cat. Why it had two cats on an OBD I single exhaust system I have no idea. I had a pipe welded to to main cat & then had the new turbo muffler welded on.
The the results were better than I hoped. I have great power now & much improved gas mileage. I haven't checked it yet but The gas gauge after a 70 mile drive is much higher than in the past.
So money well spent. I'm glad to have it running much better. I have decided to keep it now. Getting only 10-12 mpg with a 302 wasn't working for me. I get better or as good out of my 99 Dodge 2500 4x4 V10 5 speed 4x4. It has lots of power.
So I'm a happy camper today.

Maybe the cat was partially blocked? Don't know. But 10-12 mpg from a 302 5 speed was indeed low. My 460 powered crew cab dually got that kind of mileage. Glad to hear it is much better now.

Filled up my car's gas tank for the first time yesterday, will see what kind of mileage I get.

Happy Sunday all!

Spent the day getting the Bronco cleaned and ready for the big club meet in Phoenix this weekend. I have been driving it daily for the last few weeks and it has gotten extremely dirty in that time!
Mel, my wife had a parade to perform in for Veteran's Day. She is in the Army Band, for those of you who don't know. She is also the a principal flute and piccolo in the UNLV Symphony, really proud of her.
