Hopeful November Thread - All Topics
Sorry, just watched the Mets, they're making me feel right at home as a Cubs fan...
No sun - no moon!
No morn - no noon -
No dawn - no dusk - no proper time of day.
No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member -
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds! -
November!

Hi y'all
Good to be back.
You should have seen my dog when Nancy picked me up.
He wouldn't let me drive he was so excited to see me. Jumped in my lap (he's 96 lbs) belly up and just made me laugh. Everybody on the curb was cracking up.
Best homecoming ever.
BTW
East coast is nice for a week.
Two is to much.
Good to be home.

Six million dollars for a pickup truck. I bet they don't sell too many of those. I would never spend that much for a pickup truck. I bet getting insurance for it would be a major PITA.

been working on this apartment "rehab" for the last month in Lancaster, and decided i really could use my 2'x3' steel cart for pileing all my stuff on.... got tired of my smaller cart tipping with a top heavy load.
only problem with taking the big cart was its to heavy to sit on top of a bed full of delicate light fixtures everyday. (no storage container on site and cannot leave anything as it WILL walk away) so i made a hitch carrier for the cart! picked up the 2" trailer hitch stock at IMS in sun valley and had the 1-1/2" Sq stock as leftovers from a handrail project here at the house. also welded on a eye for a safety chain attachment point, then with a little bit of drilling and a little more welding and it was ready to ride!
its not stupid if you get a complement from another trade on the first day of use right?!? haha, sofar it works well! i stuck some red/white reflective tape on it (official name escapes me at this time) and the way I intemperate the CVC i do not need a flag or marker lights until 48" from the rear most of the vehicle.... im at 26". its built stronger and has reflective tape, which is way more then the fresh off the boat hitch baskets ...
