I can commiserate. I'll be re-doing leaves till mid-December too, but long working hour are only partly responsible. I've got three huge Oaks (with at least 6 foot diameter trunks) that won't drop their leaves until well after Thanksgiving.

(I've gotten quotes of $400-600 to have a landscaper come in to clean up my yard.)

Morning

I can see my yard now that I am done with the leaves. There are so few leaves left in the yard that I think I am done with my postage stamp sized yard for the year.

Pouring right now but on and off raining this morning. Hope your staying dry today.

I pay significantly less than that and I have a rather large yard. You located anywhere near Wolcott?

Happy veteran's day guys, and thank you to all who have served and are serving.

I have a very large yard, but luckily the leaves aren't too bad. Two big trees in the front yard and a few in the back. All spread out over am acre though.

Good morning guys.

Looks like another wet day today.

I am thinking that this weekend might be my last time doing my leaves.
There are always a few oak leaves that hold on till spring.

Morning

Thanks Tom and back at you. Hope you had a good day yesterday.

Leaves are done at my house and I painted the ceiling and now the walls have to get painted in the living room. Can't do any painting when it's raining because the dogs have to outside in the kennel.

Waiting for a quote on the 4 shock installed. I am going with Bilstein 5100's. Was thinking of going with Skyjacker's, but not much info on line about the Skyjacker shocks.

I have 2+ acres of lawn, and live a ways from you in Orange. I have a prodigious amount of fall clean up. (My neighborhood always gets quoted higher $$ than neighboring towns.)

My lot used to be part of a farm that operated from ~1750 to the 1950's. The land has a small brook and used to have a pond to water livestock, so apparently, they never cut down the trees. As a result, I have two of what my Town Arborist calls "Heritage Trees." According to their "State Tree Survey," one of my Maple Trees (although not #1) is among the largest in the State. Plus, I have another 2 BIG Maples, 3 Oaks, & a huge Walnut.

The trees are magnificent, and I get lots of compliments on 'em. Fortunately (or unfortunately), they're all healthy, so the leaves pile up over a foot deep under the canopy.

Good morning everyone.

I've never heard anything bad about Bilsteins before John, I think you'll be happy with them. I installed a set on my Excursion shortly after I bought it and liked them.

Sounds like you have a nice property Nut job. Sounds like lots of work though!

I loved the bilsteins on my previous vehicles, haven't had them on a new SD but i wouldn't mind a new set of bilsteins right now, roads are getting bad!
