Afternoon guys, I've been enjoying driving around the new truck lately, it was nice to be able to load of some cement into the bed instead of the truck of my car today as well. We are working in Franklin tomorrow

Morning

Kyle good day weather wise to be outside working. High of 60 is what they were calling for this morning. By the way how is the MPG on the new truck doing?

Last load on the trailer ready to go to the vegetation dump at 9 this morning. That should be it for this year hopefully.

Got to pick up some wine today at Trader Joe's. A little red and a little white. Getting ready for the season coming up.

Good morning everyone.

Chilly out there today, we'll be in the 40s. I'll be hauling leaves today, this is the first place I've lived in without a place to put them.

I take it they don't have curb pickup?

Lots of places out here do, but not here. Trying to make as few trips as possible, that big back seat is useful!

Definitely good weather, it's nice being able to get everything done and not be soaked in sweat. I've still got about 1/3 of a tank left according to the gauge, I should be due for my first fill up sometime next week. Truck hardly takes any RPM or throttle to cruise, 55 is 1500 rpm, I've been staying between 60-70 on the highway and driving around town I don;t put my foot into it too much but it's got some nice power when I do!

Sounds good Kyle! The 5.4L was the top-end engine for that year, and it's cammed for lots of low-end torque. Which gears do you have?

Looks good. Grass is very green and free of leaves. I give it an hour.

That's a generation of truck I don't think I've ever had a chance to drive.

Morning

Kyle, it seems the best part of the truck is that your happy with it. Sound like it is meet all you expected from it. I'm use to going to the pump once a week at least and here you haven't even used a tank yet. That's great.

Wife gave me the go ahead to put in new shocks on the F250. I am thinking Bilsteins 5100's, but I was reading that Skyjackers are better built. Being that I will be towing a fifth wheeler, I got to make sure it's the right shock.
