Please help! 6.0 blowing white smoke.

Long time reader first time post. I have an 07 6.0 with 400,000 miles. Has been a great truck with no major problems. Before I started the work I had 3 bad injectors, running rough and the oil/ coolant temp just outside of 15 degrees. So I tour her down and replaced head gaskets, installed arp studs, all new injectors, all new glow plugs and new oil cooler. Ran great for a couple days. Then when driving to work lost power on and off for a few miles then completely gone could only go 10 miles an hour. I checked codes and there was the under boost code witch has been on there for a while and I forget the other code but it was for the ipr valve so I replaced the valve and right after still the same but that code went away and the p0470 popped up. So I cleaned out the ep sensor tube and replaced the valve. After several miles she now runs great but now I'm getting a little puff of white smoke when I take off and not every time and mainly when I take off some what quick. All codes are gone expect the under boost. I have an egr delete already. Sorry for long post just what to cover as much I could. Thanks in advance!!

Does your exhaust smell like fuel, diesel, or oil? What brand of injectors did you go with, and was the turbo cleaned with all the other work?

Under boost code (P0299) means the turbo was 4lbs short for more than 5 seconds. If you didn't clean the turbo when it was apart... you may be taking it apart again. Check all the CAC boots and any plastic piping for intake leading to and from the inter-cooler, check under the clamps as sometimes they can hide where its cracked.

smells like just regular diesel like it always has. I got the injectors from ford. Turbo was not cleaned cause plan on replacing in about a week or two. No loss of coolant. Thanks for reply. Can a bad turbo cause little white smoke. With 400,000 just going to replace in stead of clean or rebuild

As long as it smells "normal" and not like raw diesel... When you checked the CAC tubes did you notice excessive oil? Just curious about a leaking turbo seal?

I think your plan to replace the turbo is good since you are also seeing the underboost code. Good time for a Power Max!

tube going down to the cooler had enough were it dripped out. Not pouring out but definitely a quite a few drips. Is there anything else that can cause small amount of white smoke besides injectors or heads. It did not do it before the work was done.
