No heat no air just blowing on the defrost and panel.
Every thing was working great then the AC quit. I ran through the air selector and all I can get is panel and defrost with no heat. I checked the vacuum line on the passenger side engine compartment and it looks good. Any thoughts?
Oh I also took the control apart and 3 of the five holes had vacuum to them.
Thanks
Chris

system stuck on defrost means no vacuum available to the cylinders to move the air doors inside the duct....... since you "might" have some vacuum to the vents, its possible the vacuum loss is inside the selector ****... leaking inside the controller head ?
TEMP has NOTHING to do with the air flow. There is a separate ELECTRIC MOTOR that moves a BLEND DOOR that allows some of the air to go thru the heater, after it goes thru the cooling coil... The air is then MIXED to get the temp you want.. If you have NO HEAT you either have a stuck blend door, or you have no heat (hot water) inside the heater core.
