It looks like he put the truck bed from his old truck on the new one. Now he is too busy to fix the new truck. Hopefully we will all get busy again soon!

Maybe he had to remove the door because it wouldn’t clear that mangled fender. Real men don’t need no stinking doors!😁

Crushed fender and missing door, plus the cab corner is KO'd right by the drivers head. Something sharp, hard and heavy smacked that. If someone was in there at the time it must have scared the crap out of him.

Is that the license plate and tail lamp I'm seeing on the roof? Odd...

Her are some pics from the western part of Norway. "Leigevogn" on the license plate means that the owner of the truck can provide commersial services, anyone is able to order transport of people, sand, gravel or general cargo.
first pic i think is during the war...you can see on the headlights , its blending down the lights.

The licence plate number followed the owner,so when you sold your car, you could get a new title but keep the same number on yor new car. The letter told you something witch county/region the vehicle was registrated in.
my grand dad had R-5897 on his 4 latest trucks....not far from this truck pictured over.

Dunno if this has been posted already, but I thought it was cool. We called these machines straddle buggys....used to move stacks of lumber. And jailbars to I guess!
