You made my day with those cabover jailbars. Funny, I don't usually like cabovers.... Go figure.

I guess you can call them jailbars but they are the same basic COE from 40-47. Correct me if I'm wrong but they never updated the COE to match the 42 changes to regular cabs

Maybe that's why they look so good.... I mentioned last week that I thought '40-'41 big trucks were my favorite ford truck design.

Then they got a V8.

This one is a B Model with a 4 cyl. The V8 Models had a V8 on the headlight bar. 1932

Dad says that the tires wear out faster on the new V8 truck.

Then they sloped back the grille in '33 like the car.

Not exactly a vintage photo but a pretty rare 1 1/2 ton p/u. Photo is from a calendar and is currently for sale on an auction web site. I have no connection to the photo but IMO is pretty cool.

Great pics. Thanks for the video of Shiney's iconic rod. His hemi coupe ain't bad either. His and the Rudy truck are kind of responsible for the present trend.

Awesome picture! Reminds me of some of the big hay loads my dad hauled with his '53 F600 when I was a kid.
