We have an old, original stock 223 6 cylinder engine with a one barrel carb. The carb has been reworked several times. They are hard to find, but it seems you can find two barrels. Is there a 2 barrel carb that will fit the existing intake? Is there an intake manifold that will fit the OHV 6 cyl and accept an easily found 2 barrel carb? I am not a good enough mechanic to do major modifications so I would like an easy exchange if there is one. Other issues I need to consider?

Honest Charley has an adapter that only costs $22. It will work with many 2-bbls, including the Holley 94.

I saw that adapter on a few sites, but wasn't sure that it would fit. $15.87 at this site.

Thanks guys for the links. Funny how the same product can be $22 and $15. Wonder what makes the $51 so special unless it is set just for the Ford 6 cyl? I'll see if one of the cheap ones works with an old 2 bl carb and maybe change out when needed.
