Just purchased an 09 lincoln navigator...what a beautiful beast. Drove 2 hrs to get her and must say shes exceeding my expectations drive wise. Theres a couple things i may need to address with her and some questions you guys may be so kind to answer:

The drivers seat heater is very slow in heating.

Slow windows

Clunky first gear and slight whine and pull

I plan on getting it a tune up the beginning of next year. Hopefully many happy and trouble free yrs with Neicy.

How slow is slow on your windows? These trucks don't have great window motors.

About 35 seconds slow, of all my test drives, its the slowest. I figured that since these trucks also have huge Windows but the driver side is noticeably slower.

That's too slow. I would pull the panel and lube the tracks with a white lithium grease. Short of that you will have to replace the motor. Should take about 6-10 seconds on the front. I greased up mine and they sped up a few seconds quicker.

Thanks...i will have to do that. I also heard that taking it to auto washes could mess up the power run boards...is that true.

I don't' think so at all. Never had that issue. The issue is the motors are undersized, the tracks dry out and the regulators are just not designed great. I would pop off panels-not hard to do-lube the entire area the white plastic sliders travel on and see if that helps, if not, replace the motor and or regulator.

I have heard this complaint for a while on the 07 and ups.
