Exclamation Easy Maintenance

Alright guys so let me give you a quick summary before I ask my question. I just purchased a 2006 f-150 lariat, it had one owner, 80,000 miles on it and it's in great shape.

Is there any kind of easy maintenance I can do on it? I repair small engines on lawn mowers and lawn equipment for my landscaping buisness, but a truck is a big difference lol. I change my oil and oil filter anddddd that's about it lol. Just looking for something easy I can do myself maybe something I can pick up from autozone or advanced auto parts and just spend some time on it, nothing crazy just something basic that would benefit the truck. Thanks guys have a good one.

Wiper blades. Weather is getting bad, or will soon. They are only good for a year, maybe. Swap them with new, you'll be glad you did.

Inspect tires, remove rocks from tread, check for cuts, bulges, feathering wear, dry rot. Check DOT age date. Consider whether they need replacement or not despite condition of tread. Check for proper inflation and rotate if indicated. Check condition of spare for proper inflation.

Clean or wire brush battery connections and cables, ground connections on both ends, clean battery box and battery, charge and load test to ensure plenty of juice for the cold weather.

Your trucks appearance is important too. Pick up a clay bar kit, either Mother's or McGuire's, and give your truck a good going over. Finish with a good wax. I like Liquid Glass, myself.
Today's trucks don't require nearly the amount of tinkering older generation vehicles did, so keeping everything clean, properly lubricated, and protected from the elements is a good way to spend quality time with your baby.

Cooling system maintenance; if the coolant has not already been changed, it should be. Check all hoses for hardening at the connections or any cracking - replace as needed.
Brakes; check the brake fluid - if it looks brown, do a brake system flush/replace. See that the pads all are more than 1/8" thick.
Power Steering Fluid; replace with Ford synthetic ATF.
Trans Fluid; do a drain/fill with filter service if appropriate. Use the good synthetic fluid.
Differential; drain/fill with the Ford synthetic fluid. That should keep you bust for awhile. It really never ends.

80K is getting close to a plug change and nearing the time for a belt change as well. I try to do any anticipated maintenance / repair before it gets cold.
