2007 F350 Stock Height

Tried posting this in another section but not much action there. I know tires are talked to death but I have a couple of questions and would like your guys input.

Bought my truck a year ago this month, the dealer had put on 4 new "P" rated tires, 4 ply 275/60/20, not the greatest tread for winter, nor the correct size anyways

I've decided that I want the BF Goodrich KO2 tires

Now from your experiences I'm looking at sizes of stock 275, 285 (these are running around $300 each) and the tire dealer here gave me a price of $229 for 35x12.50 per tire installed. Which is a good price after doing some searching.

Since a "beefer" look it what I'd like I'm tempted to do the 35's.

I understand the larger tires will effect fuel mileage a bit, but what about towing? The largest thing I tow is a 5500lb 24 ft cruiser style boat and a open car hauler

Any feedback you guys can give would be appreciated and if anyone has the 35's on a stock height 350 and have a pic please post.
thanks

I've have those same tires (35's but in 18's) for 6 months now. The back two tread went out at 10k for some odd reason(thank god for bitching to cor prate got a hell of a discount) but the fronts are still perfect. I don't tow a whole lot of heavy stuff, nothing over 10k. I haven't had an issue out of them at all as far as towing. Little bit of sway at first but after a few hundred miles gets pretty steady. And fuel mileage wise with the bigger size i didn't see any change. My truck has been a steady 16mpg before and after lift and tires.

Hope this helps

35x12.5x20 ?

I didn't think BFG made this tire in a KO2.

As for the tires the dealer put on, I wouldn't want a "P" tire on my 8,000lb super duty.

In any case I would look at the load range of the tire, this will help with hauling and towing capacities.

Yes, make sure you have E rated tires.
The stock 20" 275's look pretty good with the KO2's!
