Dually Owners - rust around dually fender?

Any of you dually owners who live in rust prone areas experience rust issues where the dually fender meets the metal body panel? Seems like I have a small amount starting.

What year is your truck? I have taken my 2015 in twice for rubbing, not rust, to have this concerned addressed. First time they removed fenders and buffed it out. Second time they repainted the bed. Both times under warranty.

I suggest any 2011 to 2016 dually owner who is towing, have the fender area checked. I do not think it will show up on trucks with light color paint.

These photos are from the first incident about a year ago.

Nope need to get some. It's in the front top corner, I'm sure it's the spot that takes the most beating. It looks like minor painte peeling but does look almost like peeling from rust. I'll investigate further and try for some pictures. I figured there would be paint scuffing and rubbing due to panel movement. Same deal with the bed rail caps. At the ends its worn to the metal. Trucks an 08 so I'm not complaining saying it's a Ford problem, blah, blah, blah.

I only looked because I noticed a truck on Craigslist all rusted all around where the fiberglass fender meets the body panel.

Another bad spot is the back corners of the Windows where the window mounding scuffs the corner and takes the paint off. All these minor things start to add up and need to be taken care of before it just gets out of control.

Here ya go. Definitely rust formation.

Well this is an annoyance. I'll likely have a friend touch it all up next spring as the truck will hibernate when the snow and salt start to fly. Or if we catch a winter break send it over.

Almost looks as if it's been touched up before.
