Ts-6 chip reburn

I had my chip reburned and I have a tde0 pcm. The chip was tuned to a tde 1 pcm. When I put it on the 80 hp tow tune my trans will not shift out of first gear unless I do it manually then it only goes to second also if I have it on a different setting when driving and stop at a light and put it on the 80 hp tow its like my trans goes into neutral or something it doesn't pull any. Also when switching to this tune it makes the wait to start light come on and I can tell a noticeable difference in the way the engine runs for a few seconds its like it bogs down. Do I need to send it back and get it burnt for tde 0 pcm this is the only tune on the chip that it does this in. Anyone tell me what's happening? Thanks.

Send it back and get it retuned. Problem is in the chip. If it's just programming, then your ok, but if the chip got damaged during the reburn, you may need a new chip. I think you call them about it first.

I have told him about it. I though that it was doing it cause its not programmed to my pcm but be told me they are the same and it should work. I was just wandering if anyone had any experience with programming that could tell me what's goin on and if it has to be burnt to the same pcm as mine and not the same pcm family.

The calibrations on the chip (TDE1) are perfectly compatible with the stock PCM (TDE0). As a matter of fact, the calibrations are 100% identical except for the OBD2-compliant portion of the binary banks present in the TDE1.

There is a problem with the custom calibration, not with a compatibility issue between the two PCM codes.

Ok thanks, so what is the obd compatibility portion of the binary banks? What does that mean to me?

What does that mean to me?
Nothing.

The problem is a corrupt 80T.
