The 90 Second Oil & Filter Change
Reinventing the Oil Change - Lube Report Edit: Oct 14/2015 edition.
The catch right now is that we have to buy a Aston Martin Vulcan to get the system & use Castrol oil!!!! If this catches on, it'll take a lot of the wrench turning fun out of maintaining our vehicles!!!! lol

OK, that article was in last weeks offering (Oct-14), so click on "Archive" in the page title bar, when the Archive page opens, click on Oct-14, to open & read that weeks report, without having to sign up for Lube Report to be sent weekly to your mail box, if you don't want it.

Woooops, Bummer, looks like they've closed that loop hole. So, to read the entire report after the current week posting runs out on the following Wed, we now have to subscribe to their mailer!!!! Several other news entities, like the BBC, ect, had reported on the subject, just not in the detail that Lube Report had.

Here is another article that's still open for review in Lubes & Greases on the Castrol 90 second oil change. Its supposed to be the L&G Feb 2016 issue, in the Automotive section, but for some reason the link is corrupt, it connects to the Feb 2014 issue & won't correct!!!!???? I'll try & open another post below & see if it'll come up right.

So its basically a dry sump oiling system. IMO it is going to be cost prohibitive. No way to add oil other than changing the "cartridge", you will get leaks at the connections, etc. Will probably be ok for higher end vehicles but I don't think it going to be the norm any time soon. I wouldn't buy a vehicle with that on it but I'm probably not their target audience.
