I got a '97 F-250HD that was recently towed on a flatbed, ever since then I have had a hard steering problem. At first when it would occur I couldn't turn the wheels Left or Right. I had some lubricant spray in the tool box so I sprayed all the steering components, got it Turn the wheels left and right but still with some difficulty. After driving around some it became easier to steer, after a couple of days I noticed that making Right turns started to be very difficult. But making Left turns is no problem. Can anybody help me figure this one out, I'm at a loss on this.

 

How was it tied down on the flatbed? Bent steering linkage? Damaged ball joints? Tires rubbing something (you would probably know that by now!)? Damaged steering gear box?

 

Unfortunately I don't know. I was in the hospital and my sister had my truck towed there so I would have it when I get released.
