Picture of parts manual for 55 speedometer part # needed

Hey guys I am looking to get a picture of the parts manual showing the part numbers for the speedometer for a 53-55 truck. I need it to show that the speedometer is the same for the f100-350 trucks (but I think almost all of the trucks).

Some other questions on the speedometer: the little well in the back is is an oil well correct?
Is the spring in the speedometer crucial for accurate readings of speed?

I bought a speedometer on ebay that was listed in working condition but the speedometer is in no where near accurate. The spring is all mangled and the guy is trying to claim that the spring only moves the needle to 0 and does nothing else. I dont understand how the odometer can be accurate but the speedometer is not unless the spring plays a bigger role.

Thanks

The seller is FOS! All mechanical speedometers work by a spinning weak magnet behind, in close proximity but not connected to the needle, pulling on another weak magnet on the needle against the spring. The faster it spins, the stronger the magnet attraction and further the magnet can pull the needle. The spring is critical to the operation and calibration. No, that is not an oil well, NEVER lube a speedometer, the inner drive cable should only be lubed sparingly with the proper grease applied to the lower portion of the cable.

Yeah if I had known what an idiot he was I never would have purchased it. His other comment for denying my refund was that he sold it for an f100 truck and since i have a 350 his "light duty" speedometer is not meant for heavy duty trucks.
I thought I read somewhere that the only difference between the f100 and 350 gauge cluster is that the oil pressure and charge indicator are gauges instead of lights. I cant find where that is written though

Also just so I have it from the manual is there anywhere that shows what the C, D, T, TH, W, WH models mean?

Thanks for posting the picture I appreciate it

It's my understanding that eBay has changed the seller requirements to such a degree that it is a very risky operation these days. But in this instance it should work in your favor. An item that is "not as described" should be eligible for a refund. PayPal should work with you? Basically, any time a buyer is dissatisfied.

C = F1/F100 / D = F2/F250 / Y = F3/F350 / T = F5/F500 / TH = F6/F600 / W = F5/F500 COE / WH = F6/F600 COE

Can't say on a 55, but on 51-52's there is an oil well on the back, just inside of the threads for the cable. There is a bushing there that needs lube.

In 1953 all instrument clusters had gauges for oil and generator. In 54 thru 56 F100's got an idiot light for oil pressure and generator and the F250's and up had gauges.

On the back of the 53-55 speedos I have had there is a small hole on the speedo near where the cable is attached. I have heard this called a oil wick hole.
