Difference between FASS and E-Fuel system?

What's the difference between the two and can we even use a FASS system on ours?

IIRC( i didnt take the time to search info and back up what im about to say), fass is a brand of e-fuel kit, like all the others. but i think fass is usually just a filter and pump setup. it doesnt come with the fpr and RR.

A good diy system can be tailored to fit and look like you want. Every truck is slightly different and I just like doing my own stuff.

I would advise using a gsl392 pump. I have an aeromotive regulator but many use the fuel lab. im a dork for aeromotive i cant lie. Their stuff was always great on my mustangs so im going with it. Also steel jic fittings from the hydraullic shop and multi use hose can help the budjet. You will like it after its done.i sure do every time i work on my pig.

As far as fass.imo its just a gimic and a name that will cost more money.

So why do u want an electrical pump over a mechanical? Seems like the mechanical one would be more reliable with less malfunctions

quite the contrary, the mechanical lift pump is know to fail and you wont know it by just putting your ear up to it(if you have some oddly long ears)
it can break where it mounts at the block
the plunger that sticks out can fall out and get lost into your engine while removing(due to failure)
it can leak,etc
the electric is a heck of a lot easier to change if it ever breaks and easier to diagnose.

Electric is a more even flow, fewer pressure spikes...

Smoother fuel supply and volume.
I could put a hurrying on the stock pump with just mild mods .
That's a new pump, shimmed regulator and a tight system. It was so bad that refuel alone upped my boost 4-5psi on a hard throttle pull.

Getting a t500 was another 4-5psi.

I made 29-30 psi with stock stixs, turbo, etc. That was 200hp/395tq

If you drove with a pressure gauge you would see what I'm talking about.I have an in cab gauge so I can monitor it. Most don't care but I'm special like that lol
