Thanks guys its Kirker Satin Hot rod black. I love the look but the satin paint was difficult to get consistent. I did the back half and got burnt out and took it to the neighbor to finish the rest of the paint work. I think he painted to fast and its got a lot of over spray and dry spots. By using some scotch brite pads and rubbing compound I can get it mostly consistent.

Stainless bumpers are on the to order list, and I am going to mirror tint the windows..... 20 inch rims etc.

I agree this is not a "rat rod" by today's overused and abused definition. It's WAY too nice.

I think it's a real nice looking truck, and the SS bumpers /wheels will set it off nicely. PS nice shop, stove, sink, lift, Your Rock On!

How dare you call your truck a rat rod. It looks pretty good to me, rats are nasty icky things with wheels. Yours most certainly is not one of those.

You have a beauty of a truck there. Way too cool to consider the rat rod term.
So, what color are you thinking of going with your rims?
Great shop you have there too.

Thanks guys I want to have it driveable by the end of the year.

I am not going to lie I am nervous about the 20s. Bluey, you have no room to talk your avatar has dubs! chrome or black chrome for the finish. all 4 windows will retain the stock stainless trim.

Is that a steel or f'glass cab? Does CA allow mirrored windows? mirrored or real dark tint windows are illegal here.

Steel original big window cab. steel front clip too but I am sure you knew that.

CA only allows light tint on the front windows. So the mirror tint (I am going to go more a of a platinum) will not be legal. We will see how long I get away with it. My police friend said he would write 1 fix a ticket for me.
