Thanks for posting the PDF of that TSB, I wasn't able to find that with my google-fu.

My truck is outside it's powertrain warranty, and so far no ugly sounds . . . .

I wouldn't worry much. We'd be seeing them fail in droves if this were a common occurrence. There are a LOT of EcoBoost powered trucks out there that fall under that date range.

Me either Tom. I'm at 55K on the clock now and she's as smooth and quiet as she was when new. I am of the opinion that the TSB will really pertain to a few owners in comparison to the 100's of thousands sold.

Also, the metal cover I took off has stamped on it: "Do Not Remove For Oil Change". Between disobeying the oil life monitor and also disobeying the cover instructions, I'm kind of worried I might get in trouble with some agency or other. So keep this info between us.
You probably cut the tag off your mattress too.

It could be common with mileage and age. I read the pdf and I think this is the same thing
