y block bell housings an a T5

Hey all you cruisers and 3 time losers, LOL. I have a question regarding adapting a Mustang T5 to a 292 y block in a 56 F100. Would a bell housing from an M600 truck work. There are 2 of these trucks (53 to 55) in a boneyard not far from me, one with the 272 still attached.

thanks
Bill

There is a company that builds an adapter and will sell it the transmission, the shifter and the whole shebang. I will find where I have it and get back.

thanks, I know about Mummert and I'll look into Modern Driveline. Mummert would be the cheapest route however it would cost me more for shipping the bell housing to California than the cost of the modification.
