I only caught the second half of this one, but MAN that was a fight! Like they said, good thing were on a bye week now. Give em all time to heal up some.

We've got what? 3? 4? 5? Guys out that got hurt?

Yeah, this bye came at a perfect time. Took my daughter to her first game Saturday, perfect day for it! Need Westy, Alonzo Moore, Cethan Carter, Tanner Farmer, and Davied Knevel back healthy!

Mike is saying that he doubts westerkamp and carter will be ready for the Indiana game. Says westy has a back injury that really has him hurtin. He expects them back for the Purdue game though.

It's gonna be tough getting past Indiana with two of our star players missing. The rest of the Team is really gonna have to be on point.

If I had a choice, I'd take Carter back. They will get Alonzo Moore back, so, he can make up some for Westy's absence. They'd better take Indiana seriously. Oh, and they should have Farmer and Knevel back on the O line for Indiana also.

Lots of injuries, including Tommy, that ankle is still bothering him, I think. Offensive line really got blown up, I'm worried what Wisconsin and OSU are going to do to them.

Well here we go!

It's gonna be interesting no doubt. Wisconsin has dropped back to #11 while we have somehow become #7. So in that aspect, we might be better? Good enough to beat them? I don't know. If we play good all four quarters, we just might edge them out. Hopefully.

As for Purdue on Saturday, I was expecting to walk right over them. But they managed to put up a worthy fight. I think it was a combination of things, our O-line still lagging, them playing their best defensive game, and a few big (unexpected) plays...

I'll certainly take 7-0! Saturday night will be interesting. I just hope they get Cethan Carter, Jordan Westercamp, and Devine Ozigbo back, then will need them! Wisconsin has a terrible offense, but a monster defense. And, playing up there doesn't help NU's cause.

The boys held on until the end, but, not to be. If the offense could have scored just one more TD! But, they are still in top ten, on to Columbus!

Yep!

I'm disappointed in the loss, but also impressed that they pushed as hard as they did! It was closer than I expected!

It would be awful damn nice if they can win this weekend, not real confident, though. That would keep them a game ahead of Wisconsin for the west!

I don't think it's impossible for us to beat Ohio... but I don't think it's very likely either...

Yeah, I agree. Tommy would have to play a perfect game, and, that's not been the case lately.

Yeah, that was a disaster. I was thinking that they'd get back in the game, they were driving when Tommy got hurt. Ryker coming in was pretty much the nail in the coffin. But, the defense looked like they didn't have a clue, and couldn't tackle worth a damn. So much for not having any more blow out losses.....
