Question of the Week: Snow Tires or All-Season on your Ford?

I voted for after-market All-terrain tires, because that's what I run on my truck, but I am a big believer in the value of a true winter tire for most applications.
My wife's van rides on snow tires for half the year, and I have no regrets about that.
It makes a big difference where you live too. I've spent time in cities where the roads are basically packed snow and ice from December until April. In places like that, a studded ice tire makes sense. Here, we get enough warm weather through the winter that the roads are clean down to the pavement most of the winter.
