She's got 373 gears. Still on the fence about changing them out. I don't tow much and the get up and go...well its a huge truck. Idk if it's worth the cost. Still considering that. I'm outside of toledo in woodville ohio.

For a few years they were just the frc, then they became the z06. It's my favorite c5 either way.

Thanks guys. The car is a 99 frc. 408 stroker, trick flow heads, fast intake mani, interior, suspension, wheels, brakes...everything has been worked over on it. It's a fun car for sure.

First thing I think when I see big tires, especially on a gas rig.

Yeah, It is a huge truck and I'm sure that the get up and go is a little lacking with an effective 3.18 gear ratio when that V-10 would really like an effective 4.30 gear ratio!

OK, not just a C5 Vette but a hot rodded C5 Vette, so we know you like "Sporty" wheels for sure. That huge truck of yours with the 37" tires NEEDS new gears! I can't imagine how sluggish it must feel with a 3.18 gear ratio, in my humble opinion it would be well worth the cost to gear that great looking EX. The perfect gears for 37"s would be 5.13s that would give an effective ratio of 4.37, almost exactly the same as what I am turning and the V-10 loves that ratio. But since you say that it doesn't tow you may only want to run 4.88 gears to get to an effective ratio of 4.15 which would make a massive improvement in drivability and still preserve decent (for a lifted big tire V-10 EX ) MPG.
You've already got the headers and tunes, now finish up the drivetrain and get the right gears to get the best performance out of that sweet rig!
You will want 5Star to tweek the tunes after the gear swap for optimal results.
