Well, it looks kool. The body's straight, and it's got a neat stake bed on it. Same model year as me! No interior shots or engine/underside......but it IS only $500 clams.

Okay....it is on the cheap side. There are two types of people:

1. Those who think it's old so it's worth a mint.
2. Those who think it's old so it's not worth a damn.

It's always best to go have a look-see, but I like the work trucks. When my truck is done, I'd like to get a bigger one, like a '57 - '60 F500 (don't know if that's correct model ID) dually w/a flatbed and winch to restore and trailer my little 'Doll around with!

 

It seems to be a good buy. The motor's been swapped if it's 351C. It might be a 351Mor 400M because they look very similar. If it's still the original motor is either a 352, 360(?) or a 390. Either way you still get a good deal. It looks to be a very nice truck but maybe you should drive over and see it. Do you have a use for it? -4speed

Okay do you want another side project? Surely you do some kind of "too dirty to use the 49'" work around the house then go fo it. That truck would look sharp with some paint and pickup bed and some nice painted wheels! -4speed
