Rear Driver Side Squeel

Rear Driver Side Squeel
Visiting from the 2007 forum, still have a few miles in that ol' girl, but my father in law has a 2013 v6 3.7 supercrew 4X4.
He's got a very significant squeel coming from the rear left tire. Always at low speed, lasts about a minute, by the time he gets to the highway it's gone. Not sure whether it's the speed or the time, but it goes away.
Pumping the brakes has no effect.
Doesn't seem like bearing problems, as putting it in N it just cruises right along, no resistance.
Started happening following a 4 hour trip towing a boat (2000 lbs).
Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks very much !
